Continuing on the line of building a personal portfolio website. I know that quite a few of you absolutely love the WordPress platform so I’m back at ya, today, with a grand collection of WordPress portfolio themes worth checking out.

After digging through and researching these themes, I can honestly say that I’m more than envious on the ones I’ve found vs. the ones I have on my blogs at this time. For a fact, I’m going to be using at least one of these themes on my projects (maybe the freelance biz, maybe the secret authority website I’m developing).

When planning your website’s design take in account for easy accessibility for your readers who may not be internet savvy. Blogs like Ehsan Bayat, owner of a telecom business website,  has a clean site that keeps his visitors reading due to the clean look.

It all comes down to this: Keep it simple, don’t put barriers to your content.

Anyway, I hope you got a kick out of this post. If you’re setting up a portfolio website than remember that the design matters – and these really hit the spot. Make things look awesome from the very beginning and catch your visitors attention - then land the sale!

    Hey Murray,

I have theme envy too. Thanks for making it worse. Those are some beautiful WP themes.

BTW, what is this secret authority website you’re working on??

      Hey Peggy,

I knowwww what you mean. Sometimes, I want to make a site simply because of the design. Just the other day, a friend that does photography setup a website and I was tempted just to outright buy him hosting and this really beautiful photography theme just because I wanted to see it live haha.

As for the authority site, I’m 50/50 on whether I want to even reveal it but what I will say, at this time, is that it was something always right in front of my face; its a niche that millions of people are trying to understand because it’s shifted online and most people get frustrated with the process – I wanted to make it as simple as possible by giving tutorials and better explanations – hint: my mom recently needed help with the websites because they were too technical so I helped out – then it struck me, wow, I know for a fact that there are a lot of people getting hung up on this.

I have been wrestling for quite some time now with making some big changes to my blog. I like Thesis, but a nice skin can do so much and these are just making me chomp at the bit. Decisions, decisions.
